Karin is a fifth generation baker from Northern Sweden. She and her sister are running Polarbröd, a company started by their grandparents. The company is now a household Swedish brand name, having won many awards and accolades. They continue to involve their staff in the company and try to create the best possible work environment for them. They are also concerned with societal issues as well as planetary support. The company will focus on growth in the Swedish, Norwegian and French markets and hopefully find more export destinations where we in an ecologically sustainable way can deliver the bread delights of Northern Sweden to more people in the world.

Emy Blixt is the founder and Head Designer at Swedish Hasbeens. In 2006, she went to the closed-down clog factory next to her childhood village in the southern of Sweden and bought their old stock of 300 clogs from the 70’s. At that time she worked as a Swedish language teacher without any earlier experiences in the industry. She created Swedish Hasbeens in 2007 together with her childhood friend Cilla Wingård-Neuman and developed new product categories like boots, bags, belts and children’s shoes, all based on retro-inspired fashion with high demands on organic materials and sustainable production. The company is now one of the largest ecological shoe brands in the world present in more than 22 countries.

House of Dagmar is a Swedish fashion brand created by three sisters Kristina Tjäder, Karin Söderlind and Sofia Wallenstam and was launched in 2005. Karin Söderlind, CEO, supervised purchasing and product development for H&M for eight years and has been operating as a brand manager and PR-consultant for many years. The brand’s unconventional and sophisticated style has been widely recognized through several prestigious awards and by the fashion industry throughout Europe, United States and Asia. House of Dagmar recently boasts of iconic outlets such as Selfridges, Net-a-porter.com, Harvey Nicols, Harrods & The shop at bluebird among many other Swedish and international companies.

Michelle trained at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and played the violin professionally. A chartered marketer, manager and fundraiser, Michelle founded Cause4 after leaving the London Symphony Orchestra, where her achievements in private sector fundraising led to her being judged the Best Upcoming Fundraiser at the National Fundraising Awards in 2008. Since setting up Cause4, Michelle has undertaken major strategic and business development projects, including campaign developments with a number of national charities and consultancy work for FTSE 100 brands developing their cultural sponsorship programs.
